Spoken Spaces is a European Partnership currently funded by the German, Hungarian and British Councils. The project will develop adult learning opportunities using new strategies and the creative arts to encourage the involvement and participation of adult communities with their own Historic and cultural Centres.

Each of the four participating heritage art centres will aim to involve their own economic communities, that is staff usually involved in the running and maintenance of each of the centres becoming involved in its central or core activity. These will be the cooks the cleaners, the gardeners amongst others.

Each centre will collaborate and exchange outcomes and the project aims to engage adults with an active relationship with the local and familiar whilst enabling an international dialogue.

The Gruntvig award facilitates travel amongst the participating centres and we plan to bring a domestic perspective to cultural exchange.
